There has to be a fundamental change in attitude towards war. It seems to me that historically wars end after dreadful losses, after the comabatants are fleeced and exhausted. Of course the new wars arise when a new generation of innocent and ignorant young warriors can be deceived and drafted as new cannon fooder.

Why not eliminate the war and proceed to peace immediately?

Just think how many lives and how much money and how much bitterness that would save.  Just check Wikipedia on war casualties.

Today however we face a stark choice:  either create a unified planet and social justice or become extinct.

We are all occupying a planet which is fast spinning out of control, we can survive only by international cooperation and diverting the money spent on weapons to social justice and social opportunities. So-called terrorism can only be addressed by providing the opportunities and hope which  is lacking in the seed communties.

You can start by donations to UNICEF and OXFAM you can continue by lobbying your politicians to stop the legal arms race. If you save a child abroad, if you divert money from arms, if you tell your politicians to  adopt universal codes of justice, if you save energy, you are saving your children's lives, you are saving your grandchildren.  We are all in the same boat, it maybe sinking one end but it is sinking you can help prevent this.
